First Edie Art children’s book is out!!

This is a first edition soft cover 30 page long children’s book.
It is the first Edie Art children’s book!
It features 24 of Edie’s original paintings inspired by her nieces.
The story is written by writer Paul Willis.
The book measures 5.5×8.5″ or 14x22cm.
For now it is only be available here on Etsy or in NYC markets.
It makes for a perfect birthday gift since the story is about 2 girls’ musings on birthdays.

Mirror paintings

New York is beautiful and cold this time of year, the perfect time to be in and add some color to the grey and white visuals of winter.
I’ve been taking some new directions. There are two new developments, firstly I’ve been focusing on large canvasses and allowing for new influences to guide me , which I’m really excited to share with you very soon.
Also I found a new type of ‘canvas’ and have for the first time collaborated on a painting.
I’ve had a large mirror hanging in my apartment that didn’t really serve much purpose and I decided with my boyfriend it would be far more interesting to look in if we decorated it with original artwork.
It came about very organically and naturally. Here’s a few shots of the results. [click on the pictures to see more]
They are for sale and if you are interested, feel free to write and ask for details! (the round mirror has already been sold)
Commissioning one to be especially made for you [or your kids] is of course also available.
