“Dia luna..” First of the Tuesday entries

This is the first entry of my new project: the Tuesday entries.
Every Tuesday I will post a new video of a song/piece of music accompanied by an animated video.
It can be older songs, brand new songs, covers, little bits and pieces of sounds- I don’t even know exactly yet- it will be inspired as it goes. I am just excited to take on a challenge and learn to make better video’s.
I never sit and wait around for inspiration- I believe it comes as you create. I have written so many new songs and painted so many new paintings over the last year and I think that directing them into a weekly entry will push me to finish things and send them ‘out there’. Share them instead of locking them up in a computer.

This first one- a cover by Manu Chao- one of my favourite artists. Always loved this song and its total simplicity. I painted the backgrounds and raindrops especially for the video. The moon and stars [planets?] were barrowed from my painting “Prayer”
