This series was born from the desire (need) to express the felt grief over what we have been doing for centuries and centuries to Mother Earth. Our belief in separation that has allowed us to do so. I started with images of colonial and exploited land, looking at Indonesia and New York. (dutch colonies) also took some of the great Dutch painting masters and added things into their work. Also modern day photos.
